Healthy Minds Network Webinar:
Morneau Shepell: International Student Support Program (ISSP)
Join us for our upcoming
webinar on Tuesday, April 26
from 12:00-1:00 pm ET!
This webinar will focus on
international student mental health
and will feature Matthew McEvoy from
, who will be discussing the specific needs of international students as well as their
International Student Support Program (ISSP
). There are nearly one million international students studying in U.S. colleges and universities, more than in any other country in the world. These students face a number of unique challenges, including cultural adjustments that create increased risk for depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems. The ISSP is designed to integrate with on-campus resources and support students and their parents with the many concerns they are faced with while living and studying abroad. Further tailored to the needs of students are the methods by which they can receive support – namely, culturally relevant 24/7 chat with a qualified counselor (via app or online) and 24/7 telephone support in their preferred language. As always, the webinar is free of charge.
We look forward to having you join us!
